My Therapy Pals (‘MTP’ or ‘the Company’) will be a new virtual mental health care facilitating online individual and group sessions via video conferencing, complete with direct online chat with licensed therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists.
MTPs will be distinguished specifically by its capability of facilitating group sessions. For creating a value-added service to health care stakeholders and corporations, the MTP will further enable medical record sharing and be offered as an employee health benefit, respectively.
MTP will partner with insurance providers to include its services as an employee health care benefit.
Co-founders: MTP’s co-founders are comprised of an operation executive with over 28 years’ experience, a seasoned OB/GYN with 20 years, and an accomplished Founder and CEO of a medical equipment company in Iran.
Mansooreh Pazyar: Director of Operations. Ms. Pazyar contributes 11 years HR managerial experience encompassing recruitment, training and organizational development. Ms. Pazyar has served as the HR Manager/Member of Directing Board since January 2014. In this role, she has spearheaded the development of HR online portal for evaluating the efficiency of employee performance. She actively liaises between management and employees for organizational development and conflict resolution purposes. Ms. Pazyar graduated with Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering in 2000 from Industry University of Isfahan and Master of Clinical Psychology in 2019 from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, Iran.
Neda Rahimi-Rad: MD, Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Rahimi-Rad has 20 years of experience within the medical field, which will be invaluable toward the clinical development aspect of the app. Dr. Rahimi-Rad is an OB/GYN specialist who has managed her own clinic since 2006. She worked as an Assistant Professional at the Shiraz University of Medical Science from 2009 to 2010 and at Kowsar, Dena and Ordibehesht, Shiraz Central Hospitals from 2010 to 2015 while providing care from her private clinic. She then took a Fellowship in Perinatology at Shiraz University of Medical Science from 2015 to 2017 prior to her current role as a Senior Consultant, where she has been operating a genetic counselling and perinatal diagnosis clinic. Dr. Rahimi-Rad graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from the School of Medicine in 1997 and completed her residency in 2006 from Shiraz (Pahlavi) University in Shiraz, Iran.
Dr. Gholamreza Fereydooni: Chief Project Officer. Dr. Gholamreza Fereydooni contributes 17 years of executive experience as the Founder and CEO of a medical equipment company in Iran, Fereydoon Medical Supplies. In this role, Dr. Fereydooni led a team of sales executives in developing new markets and obtaining distributor rights from major medical equipment brands such as Medtronic, Biotronik AG and Terumo for the Iranian market. Dr. Fereydooni graduated with an MD from Shiraz University of Medical Science in Shiraz, Iran.
MTP’s Value Proposition: MTP exists to create an integrated platform of communication for therapy sessions, reservation and scheduling and medical records access to providers (psychologists, therapists and psychiatrists) as well as patients and insurance providers. It will utilize advanced video teleconferencing technologies to facilitate not only individual therapies but also group therapies while giving an opportunity for participants to remain anonymous.
